FINANCE MINISTER OUTLINES FIVE PILLARS FOR INDONESIA'S GROWTH

Speaking at the Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum 2026 in Jakarta, Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara outlined five foundational pillars critical for advancing Indonesia into a high-income, developed nation. He stressed that state spending through the State Budget (APBN) and non-state investments must work cohesively to support long-term national development. Central to this strategy are the first two pillars: accelerating human capital development, particularly by strengthening education and healthcare systems—and expanding physical infrastructure via blended public and private financing mechanisms. The remaining pillars center on systemic efficiency, sustainability, and economic resilience. Institutional reform serves as the third priority, requiring both public and private entities to implement strong governance frameworks and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Nazara concluded by emphasizing the final two pillars: continuous structural reforms aimed at streamlining business processes and inter-agency workflows, paired with the steadfast preservation of macroeconomic and social stability to underpin sustainable economic growth.Source: https://en.antaranews.com/news/437951/finance-minister-outlines-five-pillars-for-indonesias-growth (ICE GIACARTA)
