THE Board of Investments (BOI) has approved P900.06 billion worth of investments from 207 projects for the first nine months of the year, the agency reported on Tuesday. The number marks a 53.05 percent increase from investment approvals during the same period last year. It also amounts to 90 percent of the agency’s P1 trillion full-year target, with three more months remaining in the year. Investment approvals reached P278.21 billion in September alone. This shows a 392.5 percent increase from the P56.49 billion recorded in September 2025.
