Danantara, Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, is set to host the 2026 Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum (DTIIF) to attract global investors and support technology-driven industrialization across the country. According to Sigit Puji Santosa, Danantara’s Chief Technology Officer and chair of the forum, Indonesia offers investors a combination of abundant mineral resources, a large domestic market, and access to the wider Southeast Asian region. The forum forms part of Danantara’s strategy to build an industrial ecosystem centered on technology, innovation, talent development, and long-term investment. Scheduled for October 26–28 in Jakarta, the forum will bring together economic leaders, technology experts, and global corporate executives to connect innovation, capital, and industrial opportunities. Discussions and investment presentations will cover six strategic sectors: energy; agriculture, food and health; advanced materials and semiconductors; transportation and infrastructure; finance and banking; and AI, digital infrastructure, and telecommunications.
