Ukraine's imports of roasted, non-decaffeinated coffee continued to expand during the first nine months of 2026, reflecting sustained consumer demand and the ongoing development of the domestic coffee market. Between January and September 2026, total imports reached €127.68 million, representing a 0.43% increase compared to the same period in 2025.Poland remained Ukraine's largest supplier of roasted coffee, exporting €39.08 million and accounting for 30.61% of total imports. Despite maintaining its leading position, Polish exports edged down by 0.47% compared to the same period of 2025.Germany strengthened its position in second place, with exports rising by 5.76% to €34.14 million, increasing its market share to 26.74%.Italy ranked third among suppliers, with exports totaling €25.01 million. However, Italian shipments declined by 14.84% compared to the same period of 2025, reducing Italy's market share to 19.59%. Despite this decrease, Italy remained one of the key players in Ukraine's coffee import market and retained a substantial presence in the premium coffee segment.Among the fastest-growing suppliers, Bulgaria recorded particularly strong growth, with exports surging by 77.74% to €6.82 million, raising its market share to 5.34%. France also posted remarkable results, increasing shipments by 53.06% to €2.63 million, while Turkey expanded exports by 59.59% to €704,422.By contrast, several suppliers experienced declines. Imports from Switzerland fell by 19.57% to €2.60 million, while Latvia decreased by 29.02% to €2.08 million. Lithuania also recorded a decline of 8.66%, with exports totaling €4.21 million.Overall, Ukraine's roasted coffee import market in the first nine months of 2026 demonstrated continued resilience and modest growth. While Poland and Germany consolidated their leading positions, Italy maintained a significant presence despite lower export volumes, and several emerging suppliers, particularly Bulgaria, France, and Turkey, continued to expand their footprint in the market.
