UK RULES OUT TAX ON CHINESE EV EXPORTS
On Oct. 14, Business Secretary Reynolds said UK tariff decisions rest on British interests, not other countries' demands. With Chinese brands holding 15% of the UK market in Jan–Aug 2026, higher tariffs would hurt exports and deter Chinese investment. The issue heads to the Nov. 20 UK–EU summit. (ICE PECHINO)
