The surge spanned advertising, digital services, gaming, media production, and design, bolstered by strong performance across the broader UAE creative economy—including $200 million in cinema box-office revenue, $735 million in digital gaming revenues, and a projected jump in the domestic publishing market to $650 million by 2030. To sustain this momentum, local and federal authorities are rolling out structured support initiatives, such as the Dubai Design Sector Strategy 2033 targeting 25,000 design students, the AED 2 million Stories of Wulfa animation competition, and nationwide cultural grant programs aimed at financing, talent development, and international market access.
