CHINA’S SERVICES TRADE UP 7.9% IN FIRST EIGHT MONTHS
China’s total trade in services grew 7.9% year-on-year to 5.07 trillion yuan during the first eight months. Service exports surged 14.8% to nearly 2 trillion yuan, while imports rose 3.8% to 3.07 trillion yuan. Travel and transport services served as the primary drivers, contributing nearly 50% to the overall expansion in service exports. (ICE PECHINO)
