Lithuanian defence technology company RSI Europe plans to invest up to €50 million in Panevėžys district, where it will expand its capacity to develop and manufacture advanced defence systems. The project follows a large-scale investment agreement signed with Lithuania’s Ministry of Economy and Innovation.According to Invest Lithuania, the investment is expected to create up to 40 new jobs, around 35% of which will be for highly skilled engineering and technical specialists. The project supports Lithuania’s objective of strengthening its defence industry and developing high-value-added production outside the country’s largest cities.The initiative reflects Lithuania’s growing focus on defence technologies and industrial capacity, including advanced manufacturing, engineering and dual-use solutions.
