KEGOC shareholders approve H1 2026 dividend of 81.25 tenge per shareShareholders of KEGOC, the operator of Kazakhstan's power grid, have approved a dividend of 81.25 tenge per share for the first half of 2026, the company said in a statement published on the Astana International Exchange (AIX).The total amount allocated for dividend payments to KEGOC shareholders is 22.368 billion tenge.The dividend was approved at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on October 8, 2026.The list of KEGOC shareholders entitled to receive dividends on ordinary shares for the first half of 2026 will be fixed as of midnight on October 14, 2026. Dividend payments will begin on November 1, 2026.KEGOC's net profit under IFRS rose 60% in the first half of 2026 to 54.624 billion tenge, meaning the dividend payout represents 41% of net profit.The dividend per share was 80.90 tenge for the first half of 2025 (22.27 billion tenge in total) and 81 tenge for the second half of 2025 (22.3 billion tenge in total).KEGOC pays dividends twice a year.KEGOC is the operator of Kazakhstan's national power grid. The company held an IPO in 2014, floating 10% of its shares on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). In 2023, it conducted an SPO on the AIX and KASE, during which its majority shareholder, Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna, sold 5% of KEGOC shares.Samruk-Kazyna holds an 85% stake in KEGOC, making it the company's majority shareholder.
