STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND ECONOMIC EXPANSION IN THE UAE

Across energy, technology, trade, education, and finance, the UAE is advancing high-impact initiatives aimed at long-term economic resilience and infrastructure modernization. New data reveals a $210 billion project pipeline across 136 energy developments—led by conventional oil and gas alongside nearly 18 GW of renewables—while Dubai’s DEWA has shifted 76% of its operations to autonomous agentic AI, slashing processing times by up to 95%. Higher education enrolment surpassed 218,000 students following a 15% surge in new admissions, supported by flexible entry policies. Internationally, the UAE is driving non-oil economic recovery ahead of its GCC peers, expanding global trade ties via fast-track CEPA negotiations with Argentina anchored by a $51 billion LNG project, and reinforcing domestic stability through the Central Bank’s newly launched National Financial Literacy Strategy 2027–2031 to protect consumers and MSMEs against financial shocks and emerging digital scams.
