IPC TERMINAL PETIKEMAS RECORDS SIGNIFICANT CONTAINER HANDLING GROWTH THROUGH August 2026
IPC Terminal Petikemas (IPC TPK) recorded a operational growth, handling 2.51 million TEUs of container cargo from January through August 2026. This marks an 8.37 percent increase compared to the 2.31 million TEUs achieved during the same period in 2025. Looking specifically at August 2026, the company logged 339,359 TEUs, reflecting a 10.3 percent year-on-year surge. Executive Daniel Setiawan attributed this performance to ongoing terminal facility optimizations, enhanced port logistics efficiency, and reliable service for shipping partners. The growth was driven by performance gains across several key operating areas. Terminal Teluk Bayur led the surge with a 14.6 percent volume increase, while the primary hub at Terminal Tanjung Priok expanded by 13.2 percent, followed by Terminal Panjang at 10.9 percent and Terminal Pontianak at 4.2 percent. IPC TPK credits these results to continuous workforce training, strict field safety standards, and reduced vessel port stay times. As the final quarter of 2026 approaches, the company plans to maintain its positive momentum by deepening collaboration across the logistics sector and introducing customer-centric service innovations.
