RECORD GROWTH IN DOMESTIC TOURISM DRIVES RAS AL KHAIMAH'S RECORD H1
Driven by a 47% surge in domestic staycations during the first half of 2026, Ras Al Khaimah achieved its strongest-ever H1 performance despite international travel disruptions, according to Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority CEO Phillipa Harrison. The emirate maintained stable hotel average daily rates by using value-added promotional offers rather than discounting prices, while core international markets such as Russia, India, and the UK began to recover. To support its ambitious goal of tripling visitor arrivals by 2030, Ras Al Khaimah is expanding its infrastructure through Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and a robust hotel pipeline featuring upcoming openings from major luxury brands, including Wynn, Nobu, Janu, Fairmont, W Hotels, and Four Seasons.
