RAS AL KHAIMAH RECORDS LANDMARK H1 GROWTH POWERED BY 47% STAYCATION SURGE
Ras Al Khaimah achieved its strongest-ever first-half performance in 2026, offsetting international travel disruptions with a dramatic 47% surge in domestic UAE staycations. According to RAKTDA CEO Phillipa Harrison, international demand is also rebounding rapidly—led by key source markets in Russia, India, and the UK—while tactical, value-added offers allowed the emirate to maintain stable, healthy Average Daily Rates without discounting room prices. Supported by Ras Al Khaimah International Airport exceeding one million annual visitors, the destination remains on track to triple total arrivals by 2030 through an aggressive luxury hospitality pipeline featuring upcoming openings from Rotana, Mantis, Wynn, Nobu, Fairmont, and Four Seasons.
