KazTransOil's Batumi terminal transshipped record 293,000 tonnes of oil, products, gas in AugBatumi Oil Terminal, a subsidiary of Kazakhstan's KazTransOil, handled 293,000 tonnes of oil, petroleum products and gas in August 2026, KazTransOil's press service said Tuesday.The company said it was the highest monthly transshipment volume since 2017."The record came on the back of increased cargo flows and the resumption of crude oil and jet fuel transshipment this year," the company said.In January-August 2026, the Batumi terminal transshipped 1.251 million tonnes of oil, petroleum products and gas, up 3% from the same period in 2025.The total included 178,000 tonnes of oil, 589,000 tonnes of dark petroleum products, 401,000 tonnes of light petroleum products and 83,000 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas.Batumi Oil Terminal LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of KazTransOil, Kazakhstan's pipeline operator, which owns and manages assets in Georgia through the subsidiary.KazTransOil JSC, part of National Company KazMunayGas, owns and operates oil pipelines of over 5,200 km in length. The company also services over 5,000 kilometers of oil pipelines belonging to third parties. (ICE ALMATY)
