State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) on Tuesday said it has entered into an agreement with Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd (TRSL) to form a joint venture for the comprehensive maintenance of Vande Bharat sleeper train sets for 35 years.BHEL and TRSL will hold an equal 50% stake each in the joint venture, according to a regulatory filing.The JV will be incorporated as a private limited company with an initial paid-up share capital of ₹50 lakh, with its registered office in Delhi.Both companies will nominate two directors each to the JV’s board.The joint venture will draw on the technical capabilities of BHEL and TRSL to ensure the operational readiness, safety and reliability of the train sets throughout their 35-year service life, the filing said.Read more at:https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/transportation/railways/bhel-and-titagarh-rail-set-to-form-joint-venture-for-vande-bharat-sleeper-train-maintenance/articleshow/134261238.cms (ICE MUMBAI)
