Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry for the Economy announced that the Indonesia-European Union Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IEU-CEPA) will significantly enhance market access for Indonesian exports, including crude palm oil, footwear, coffee, furniture, and telecommunications equipment. Following the conclusion of negotiations in September 2025, the agreement is targeted for implementation in early 2027. Upon entry into force, 90.4 percent of Indonesia's tariff lines will immediately receive zero tariffs, while an additional 8.37 percent will benefit from gradual tariff reductions and Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) facilities.
