The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is tightening the management of industrial zones across Indonesia by requiring unofficial industrial areas to obtain Industrial Zone Business Licenses (IUKI). Deputy Minister of Industry Faisol Riza emphasized that providing clear regulations, legal certainty, and proper governance is essential for creating a conducive investment climate and maintaining order for businesses operating within these zones.To support this transition, Kemenperin is actively guiding naturally formed Industrial Allocation Areas (KPI) to transform into legally compliant, official industrial parks.
