Minister of Investment Dr. Tareq Abu Ghazaleh said the Jordan-EU Investment Conference, scheduled for November 19 at the Dead Sea, will serve as a practical platform to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Jordan and the European Union. He said the conference aims to translate this partnership into concrete investment collaborations and high-quality projects that create added value for the national economy while generating mutual benefits for both sides. In an interview with Al-Ghad newspaper, Abu Ghazaleh said the investment opportunities to be showcased at the conference were selected based on criteria including economic feasibility, project readiness, and their potential to attract investment and financing. He added that the opportunities were also selected for their ability to deliver tangible economic and developmental impacts, offering promising prospects for growth and expansion, job creation, increased production and exports, and the transfer of technology and knowledge. The Minister said Jordan is preparing to present approximately 40 “investment-ready” opportunities to European investors. These form part of a broader portfolio of more than 120 opportunities listed on the official “Invest in Jordan” platform, highlighting the diversity of investment options available and the Kingdom’s capacity to attract high-quality investments and forge European partnerships in priority sectors.
