CHINA'S AUGUST CPI AND PPI REBOUND MONTH-ON-MONTH
China’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) grew 0.4% month-on-month in August 2026 (up 0.8% YoY), supported by a core CPI gain of 1.0% YoY. Meanwhile, the Producer Price Index (PPI) turned around with a 0.4% MoM increase—reversing July's 0.7% drop—expanding its year-on-year growth to 3.8%. (ICE PECHINO)
