INDONESIA: SURABAYA CERAMIC MSME SUCCESSFULLY BREAKS INTO EUROPEAN EXPORT

Lumosh Living, a ceramic micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) from Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia has gained recognition from Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade for successfully entering the European export market through eco-friendly innovation. During a visit on September 6, 2026, Vice Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti Widya Putri praised the company’s circular economy approach and emphasized the government’s commitment to helping MSMEs expand globally through trade representatives, business matching programs, and export promotion initiatives. Lumosh Living recycles ceramic waste into high-quality tableware, reducing raw material use and cutting carbon emissions by 30% while improving product durability by up to 20%. The company’s products, which are lead-free and cadmium-free, have been exported to the Netherlands and Spain and have also attracted interest from Middle Eastern markets through international exhibitions such as Trade Expo Indonesia. The government plans to continue supporting the company and other MSMEs in accessing new markets, including Russia and Japan.Source: https://rri.co.id/en/business/2711625/surabaya-ceramic-msme-successfully-breaks-into-european-export (ICE GIACARTA)
