JAKARTA OFFERS 37 STRATEGIC PROJECTS WORTH IDR115 TRILLION TO INVESTORS
Jakarta is offering 37 strategic investment projects worth a total of IDR 115 trillion (about US$6.5 billion) through the Jakarta Investment Festival (JIF) 2026. The projects span a wide range of sectors, including housing, hospitality, transportation, logistics, utilities, mixed-use developments, transit-oriented development, sports and recreation, industry, and coastal area development. The city is also promoting thematic investment zones such as Ragunan Campground as an urban green recreation center, Grogol Petamburan as an education-focused district, and Kebon Jeruk as a multigenerational residential area. The initiative is part of Jakarta’s effort to strengthen its position as a global city and attract more private investment despite global economic uncertainty. Governor Pramono Anung highlighted that Jakarta recorded IDR 173.6 trillion in investment realization during the first half of 2026, while the city’s standing in international city rankings has improved. National officials including Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani and National Economic Council Chairman Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan emphasized Jakarta’s role as Indonesia’s economic gateway, contributing more than 16% of national GDP, and pledged to improve the investment climate through faster licensing, greater regulatory certainty, and stronger support for investors.Source: https://indonesiabusinesspost.com/7252/business-and-investment/jakarta-offers-37-strategic-projects-worth-rp115t-to-investors (ICE GIACARTA)
