In January-July 2026, Ukraine’s imports of olive oil reached €9.05 million, reflecting a 3.05% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Italy further strengthened its position as the leading supplier, with exports rising to €4.08 million, up 6.89% year-on-year. Italy’s market share increased to 45.01%, confirming its dominant position in the Ukrainian olive oil market. Spain remained the second-largest supplier, posting an 11.44% increase to €2.87 million, bringing its market share to 31.69%. Greece continued to lose ground, with imports declining by 30.9% to €1.36 million, reducing its market share to 15.02%. Poland maintained its dynamic rise, with exports surging by 73.69% to €524,672, capturing 5.79% of total Ukrainian olive oil imports. Tunisia also recorded solid growth, with shipments increasing by 26.89% to €67,332, accounting for 0.74% of the market.  Overall, Ukraine’s olive oil import market in the first seven months of 2026 shows continued expansion and gradual diversification. Italy is further consolidating its leadership, Spain continues to grow steadily, and Poland’s rapid rise is reshaping the competitive environment, while new and smaller suppliers are increasingly gaining a foothold in the market.
