The Indonesian Creative Economy Ministry and the Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia, Christopher B. Montero, agreed to enhance creative economy cooperation to expand market access in Southeast Asia. Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya highlighted the potential for talent exchange and developing new value-added products, such as the cross-cultural Batik-Barong collaboration. The partnership also encompasses promotional exchanges, pop-up exhibitions, and joint support for the ASEAN Center of Excellence for Creative Industries (ACE-CI) in Manila during the Philippine ASEAN Chairmanship 2026.
