CHINESE REGIONS RAISE MINIMUM WAGE STANDARDS
Guangdong, Shanxi, and Xinjiang announced minimum wage hikes taking effect this autumn. Guangdong will raise monthly standards on September 1, peaking at RMB 2,700 in Shenzhen. Shanxi and Xinjiang follow on October 1, with top tiers rising to RMB 2,350 and RMB 2,270, lifting baseline social security and overtime calculations. (ICE PECHINO)
