The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has signed a $150 million agreement with the World Bank to finance the digital transformation of publicadministration, as the government seeks to improve the efficiency of State institutions and expand access to government services.  Theproject will finance the development of digital infrastructure and government capabilities, including cybersecurity, digital skills andthe legal framework needed to support digital services. It will also establish secure platforms for government data exchange and supportthe development of digital identity and electronic signatures. Public services are expected to be progressively digitized through a unifiedgovernment digital portal. (ICE BEIRUT)
