Kazakhstan's industrial output rises 3% in Jan-JulyKazakhstan's industrial output reached 39.975 trillion tenge in January-July 2026, up 3% from the same period in 2025, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms said.The output by the extractive sector accounted for 18.424 trillion tenge (46.1% of the total), while manufacturing contributed 18.83 trillion tenge (47.1%).In the extractive sector, the output fell 4.4%, driven by an 8.9% drop in crude oil production and a 5.5% decrease in natural gas output. Metallurgical production was down 2.7%.Manufacturing grew 9%, with increases in food production (19.9%), beverages (1.7%), pharmaceuticals (38.5%), chemicals (26.9%), rubber and plastics (18.6%) and machinery (22%).Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rose 12.2%, while water supply, sewerage and waste management grew 9.5%.
