The number of real estate transactions by non-Jordanian investors in Jordan reached 1,258 properties during the first seven months of this year, a 5% decrease compared with the same period in 2025. However, the estimated value of these transactions rose by 15% to JD 123.4 million, according to a report by the Department of Lands and Survey. The transactions included 786 apartments, representing a 2% increase from the same period last year, and 472 plots of land, a 16% decrease, according to the report reviewed by Al-Mamlaka TV. The estimated value of apartments purchased by non-Jordanians reached JD 67.6 million, accounting for 55% of the total transaction value, while land purchases amounted to JD 55.8 million, representing the remaining 45%. Iraqis ranked first among non-Jordanian investors in terms of real estate ownership, with transactions valued at JD 53.3 million during the first seven months of the year. (ICE AMMAN)
