INDONESIA AND UK STRENGTHEN ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP THROUGH EGP AND CPTPP
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto met with the United Kingdom's Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, Martin Kent, on Tuesday (28/7) to reaffirm both countries' commitment to strengthening bilateral economic cooperation through the implementation of the Indonesia–UK Economic Growth Partnership (EGP), with priority areas including human capital development, energy, investment, and the transition to a more sustainable economy. Airlangga also highlighted Indonesia's progress towards accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), describing membership as a key strategy to expand market access, strengthen supply chain resilience, and support sustainable economic growth.
