Prime Minister Jafar Hassan said the National Water Carrier and Railway projects will enter the implementation phase in the coming months, describing them as key strategic initiatives that will benefit the entire Kingdom. Speaking during a meeting at the Aqaba Development Corporation on Sunday, Hassan called for greater coordination to accelerate economic, development and tourism projects in Aqaba, while continuing to support the private sector by providing a favourable investment environment. He said Aqaba is central to the Kingdom's major water, energy, transport and railway projects, adding that the government has made significant progress in preparing the National Water Carrier and Railway projects for implementation. The Prime Minister also called for faster development of Aqaba's ports and logistics services to boost regional competitiveness, alongside upgrading public beaches and expanding tourism events to attract more domestic and international visitors.
