Kazakhstan's fixed capital investment rises 9.6% in H1Fixed capital investment in Kazakhstan reached 9.512 trillion tenge in January-June 2026, up 9.6% from the same period last year, the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reform said.The largest share of investment went to industrial production (41.4%), including the extractive sector (13.8%) and manufacturing (15%), followed by real estate (18.8%), transport and warehousing (15.9%) and agriculture, forestry and fisheries (6.2%).Spending on machinery, equipment, vehicles and their major repairs rose 35.6%.Investments mostly came from equity capital of the business entities, totaling 6.544 trillion tenge. Volume of capital investments by large enterprises for January-June 2026 reached 2.857 trillion tenge.Public funds accounted for 13.4% of total investment in January-June 2026, while companies’ own funds made up 68.8%, bank loans 5.2% and other borrowed funds 12.6%, including 3.1% from non-residents.
