INDONESIA RESUMES SHRIMP EXPORTS TO SAUDI ARABIA

Saudi Arabia has officially lifted its import suspension on Indonesian shrimp, a move that restores market access following a previous ban tied to international food safety alerts regarding Cesium-137 contamination. The Indonesian government, through its Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) and a dedicated inter-agency task force, successfully implemented rigorous radiation screening and certification protocols to address the issue. The effective containment and corrective measures, confirmed by international inspections, have restored confidence in Indonesia’s food safety oversight and paved the way for the resumption of exports.Source: https://en.vietnamplus.vn/indonesia-resumes-shrimp-exports-to-saudi-arabia-after-import-ban-lifted-post347470.vnp (ICE GIACARTA)
