The Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (KESDM) has launched comprehensive measures to secure competitive domestic gas supplies, aiming to maintain industrial competitiveness and protect jobs. In response to demands from industry associations and labor unions, Minister Bahlil Lahadalia announced that non-HGBT LNG prices for industrial consumers in West Java, Banten, and Jakarta will be slashed from $20.57 per MMBTU to $13 per MMBTU. This reduction will be achieved by optimizing cost structures and boosting efficiency across the entire LNG supply chain.
