NATIONAL EXPORTS INCREASE BY 7.3% DURING THE FIRST FOUR MONTHS OF 2026
The value of national exports increased by 7.3% during the first four months of 2026, reaching 2.956 billion dinars compared with the same period in 2025. Re-exports also recorded strong growth, rising by 15.1% to 909 million dinars. As a result, total exports climbed to 3.865 billion dinars, marking an overall increase of 9.0%. Meanwhile, imports declined by 1.5% during the same period, totaling 6.559 billion dinars. Consequently, the trade deficit narrowed to 2.694 billion dinars, down from 3.110 billion dinars in the corresponding period of 2025. This represents a decrease of 13.4%, or 416 million dinars.
