The Government of Jordan and the European Union announced on Wednesday that the Jordan-EU Investment Conference will be held on November 19 at the Dead Sea, under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II and with the participation of European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. In a joint statement issued by the Ministry of Investment and the European Commission, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening economic cooperation, supporting sustainable growth, and expanding trade and investment partnerships between Jordan and the EU. The statement highlighted that the conference will bring together investors, companies, and financial institutions from Jordan and EU member states to showcase promising investment opportunities across the Kingdom and explore avenues for partnership in key sectors. These include renewable energy, clean technologies, the digital economy, industry, logistics, and infrastructure. The conference is expected to serve as a strategic platform for promoting Jordan as a leading regional investment destination and for advancing economic ties between Jordan and the European Union.
