NOC: MABROUK OIL FIELD RESUMES FULL OPERATIONS FOLLOWING MAINTENANCE AND upgrades

Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Sunday that the Mabrouk Oil Operations Company has resumed full operations at the Mabrouk oil field after completing the trial phase of operational and production capacity tests, which began immediately following maintenance and redevelopment work.During the testing period, production reached approximately 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day. Under the field's development strategy, actual production capacity is expected to rise to 40,000 barrels per day. Cumulative output since the start of trial operations has reached around 2.5 million barrels, according to the NOC statement. The corporation said the milestone marks another success for Libya's oil sector, following the successful completion of the field's commissioning phase after it had been fully rehabilitated and upgraded in the wake of severe damage and a complete shutdown in previous years. The NOC noted that the achievement goes beyond restoring production, reflecting the corporation's success in implementing plans to rehabilitate damaged oil assets and restore their operational capabilities, thereby supporting the national economy and strengthening the sector's stability and sustainability. The statement concluded with the NOC expressing its appreciation to the employees, engineers, technicians, and staff of the Mabrouk Oil Operations Company for their role in achieving what it described as a national accomplishment.
