Prime Minister Jafar Hassan received World Bank Managing Director of Operations Anna Bjerde at the Prime Ministry on Sunday, in the presence of Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan. The meeting focused on cooperation priorities between Jordan and the World Bank Group and explored ways to further strengthen their partnership in support of the Kingdom’s economic and development objectives. Hassan praised the longstanding partnership between Jordan and the World Bank Group, highlighting the institution’s role in supporting the Kingdom’s efforts to implement key economic reforms and development projects. The discussions also addressed ongoing and future cooperation in the energy and water sectors, as well as opportunities to expand support for strategic projects that contribute to sustainable growth and improved services.
