Indonesia is exploring a bilateral partnership with Estonia to optimize digital technology for governance and bureaucratic reform. During a meeting between Deputy Minister Purwadi Arianto and Estonian Ambassador Veikko Kala, Indonesia expressed intent to leverage Estonia’s experience, where 99% of public services are fully digitalized via digital IDs.Rather than merely replicating Estonia’s models, Indonesia seeks practical insights and capacity building to transition from an institution-centered system to an integrated, people-centered public service model.
