The Ministry of Water and Irrigation said on Thursday that four of the five international consortia shortlisted for the final stage of the National Water Carrier Project either failed to submit final bids or withdrew from the tender process. In a statement, the ministry said that the Meridiam–Suez consortium was the only bidder to submit a complete proposal for the implementation of the project after successfully meeting all prequalification requirements and completing the mandatory technical and financial evaluations.
