The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has announced a technical milestone in the NC2 concession after successfully increasing production at well B1-NC2 from approximately 300 to nearly 4,000 barrels of oil per day, a 13-fold increase compared to previous rates.In a statement, the company explained that this achievement came after nearly 40 years since the well was drilled in 1986. Technical teams were able to uncover the untapped production potential of the well despite the geological and technical challenges.The statement confirmed that the well is currently producing by natural flow without the need for artificial lift, with a low water content, reflecting the reservoir's efficiency and the promising production potential of the concession.
