His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has officially established the Dubai Longevity Authority (DLA) via Law No. (17) of 2026, aiming to position the emirate as the world's premier hub for regulated longevity, wellness, and advanced healthcare. Chaired by Helal Saeed Almarri and overseen by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed as President, the new entity supports the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and Social Agenda 33 by creating a sovereign market for breakthrough medical therapies that extend healthspan and lifespan. The DLA will implement a science-driven, risk-proportionate regulatory framework to oversee the entire value chain—spanning research and development, clinical trials, manufacturing, and patient care—in coordination with key entities like the Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Future Foundation.
