POLAND’S APPETITE FOR BEEF EXPORT TO INDONESIA GROWS
Polish Ambassador Barbara Szymanowska confirmed on Monday (11/5) that Poland is seeking to expand agrifood exports to Indonesia, with beef seen as the top priority ahead of the Indonesia-EU Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA), which is set to take effect in early 2027. Barbara said Polish companies are ready to export beef and will work on expanding market opportunities to also cover products like wheat, cheese, milk, and blueberries as trade opportunities grow. The broader I-EU CEPA deal is expected to remove 98.5% of its tariffs on European goods and potentially boost trade between Indonesia and Poland, whose beef exports from Poland to Indonesia amount to 500,000 tonnes per year, valued at EUR 2.52 billion.Source: https://jakartaglobe.id/business/polands-appetite-for-beef-export-to-indonesia-grows (ICE GIACARTA)
