KEGOC shareholders approve 81-tenge dividend for second half of 2025Shareholders of KEGOC, Kazakhstan's power grid operator, have approved a dividend of 81 tenge per common share for the second half of 2025, the company said Tuesday.Net profit for 2025 rose 19% to 70.8 billion tenge, with 62.9% of annual earnings allocated to dividend payments.About 22.3 billion tenge will be paid out for the second half of 2025, equivalent to 81 tenge per share.For the first half of 2025, the company paid shareholders 22.27 billion tenge, or 80.90 tenge per share.Shareholders of record as of May 12, 2026, will be eligible for the second-half dividend, with payments scheduled to begin June 12, 2026. Payments will be made electronically through the Central Securities Depository.KEGOC pays dividends twice a year. Since 2014, the company has distributed about 327.5 billion tenge in dividends.KEGOC serves as the system operator of Kazakhstan's unified energy system. The company conducted an IPO on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange in 2014, listing 10% of its shares. In 2023, a SPO on the AIX and KASE exchanges saw majority shareholder Samruk-Kazyna sell a 5% stake.The state sovereign wealth fund Samruk-Kazyna remains the majority shareholder with an 85% stake.
