Kazakhstan's GDP grew 3% in Jan-March 2026 – prime ministerKazakhstan's economy expanded by 3% in the first three months of 2026, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov announced."Today, we are reviewing the results of the country's socio-economic development and the execution of the national budget for the first quarter of this year. During this period, real GDP growth was 3%," Bektenov said at a government meeting on Tuesday.He noted that this figure was achieved through sustainable growth in the non-resource sector, particularly in manufacturing, transportation, construction, and trade."Despite the deteriorating external economic conditions, it is the non-resource sector that is demonstrating its resilience and competitiveness," Bektenov added.As reported, Kazakhstan's GDP increased by 6.5% in 2025, which was mainly driven by industrial production, transport, construction and trade.
