The gas tanker GAS SERENITY arrived on Monday at Banyas oil terminal carrying 11,600 metric tons of gas, as part of efforts to ensure continuity of supplies and enhance stability of deliveries to the local market. The Syrian Petroleum Company said that technical teams began mooring the tanker and unloading its cargo into storage tanks at the Banyas gas facility after completing the necessary procedures efficiently and safely.  The company added that gas supply operations through the terminal are ongoing, with additional tankers expected to arrive successively, pending completion of docking and unloading procedures, within a continuous supply program aimed at maintaining operational stability.  Earlier this month, the terminal received the tanker GAS HELENA carrying about 2,030 metric tons of gas as part of the same efforts to ensure steady supplies to the local market.
