According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, despite various challenges, the total value of the Ukrainian IT market now reaches $7.85B, accounting for 41.6% of the country’s total service exports. In 2025, IT service exports totaled $6.6B, which is a 3% increase from the previous year. About 80% of all export revenue come from 10 countries, including the US (almost $2.4B), followed by Malta, Britain, Cyprus, Israel, Switzerland, Germany, Estonia, Poland, and the UAE. Overall, the European market makes up 51% of Ukrainian IT exports.Last year, the Ukrainian IT industry contributed 3.2% to the country’s GDP and paid ₴50.5B in taxes. The highest revenue was generated by the computer programming sector (₴33.93B). It is noted that every ₴1 invested in IT creates another ₴1.09 in related sectors of the economy. Currently, there are over 305,000 IT specialists and 2,243 active companies in Ukraine. Along with related fields, the industry supports over 800,000 jobs nationwide.
