INDONESIA'S EXPORT VALUE REACHES US$22.17 BILLION IN FEBRUARY 2026

Indonesia’s exports showed moderate growth in February 2026, reaching US$22.17 billion, up 0.05% month‑on‑month and 1.01% year‑on‑year, according to the Ministry of Trade. The growth was driven by non‑oil and gas exports, which rose 1.30%, offsetting a 4.25% annual decline in oil and gas exports. Cumulatively, exports in January–February 2026 reached US$44.32 billion, up 2.19% from the same period last year, with manufacturing continuing to dominate export composition at 83.61% of total exports. Non‑oil and gas export growth was supported by strong manufacturing performance and rising global commodity prices, particularly for tin and nickel, whose prices surged during the period. Exports of animal and vegetable fats and oils also increased significantly due to higher global demand despite lower prices. China, the United States, and India remained Indonesia’s main export destinations, while the fastest growth came from non‑traditional markets such as the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Egypt, and regions in Central Asia, reflecting broader market diversification.Source: https://industri.kontan.co.id/news/nilai-ekspor-indonesia-capai-us-2217-miliar-pada-februari-2026 (ICE GIACARTA)
