FLEXIBLE 4G WFH POLICY FOR INDONESIA’S PRIVATE SECTOR BEGINS
Manpower Minister Yassierli announced that as of April 1, 2026, private companies, BUMN, and BUMD are encouraged to implement one day of WFH per week. Unlike civil servants (ASN) who work remotely on Fridays, private firms have the flexibility to choose any day that suits their operational needs. This policy is a non-binding recommendation aimed at energy optimization. Essential sectors like healthcare, finance, and logistics are exempt. Companies must ensure full salaries and benefits, with a formal government evaluation scheduled in two months.Source: https://ambon.antaranews.com/berita/324177/menaker-perusahaan-swasta-bisa-tentukan-sendiri-hari-pelaksanaan-wfh (ICE GIACARTA)
