Global digital infrastructure provider DAMAC Digital has reached a major milestone in Indonesia with the topping-off of its USD 150 million (≈ IDR 2.5 trillion) JKT01 data center in Jakarta’s MT Haryono corridor, just six months after groundbreaking in August 2025. Scheduled to begin operations in late 2026, the six-floor facility spans 15,080 m² and offers 19.2 MW IT load capacity, supporting around 1,350 racks at 13–15 kW each. It features three large data halls and a water-cooling tower system to boost energy efficiency, aligning with global green standards. This project marks DAMAC Digital’s entry into Indonesia’s fast-growing digital economy, driven by cloud adoption, AI deployment, and data localization policies. Beyond Jakarta, DAMAC Digital is committing USD 2.3 billion (≈ IDR 38 trillion) to build a massive AI-focused campus in Cikarang, spanning 50,000 m² with a projected 144 MW power capacity. Designed for high-density AI workloads such as generative AI and advanced analytics, the campus targets a PUE of 1.32, setting a benchmark for energy-efficient hyperscale infrastructure.
