UKRAINE PROPOSE PLAN FOR DECENTRALIZED AND SECURE ENERGY SYSTEM TO THE EU
Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba announced this during the EU Conference on Preparedness. He outlined four key components of the plan: engineering protection for critical infrastructure, distributed energy generation, uninterrupted water supply, and reliable heating systems. The minister emphasized that this plan aims to build a new, decentralized, and flexible energy system that will function for decades.Kuleba noted that the estimated cost for protecting regional infrastructure alone exceeds €1.7B, and the overall implementation of the energy sustainability plan will require more than €5.4B in investment.
