Al-Momani stated that the direct cost of recent regional developments to Jordan has reached approximately 150 million dinars this month, with the majority of the burden borne by the energy sector. Speaking to Al-Mamlaka TV, Al-Momani clarified that this figure reflects only direct expenditures and does not account for indirect challenges and associated costs. He added that the government has taken measures to operate the floating Storage and Regasification Unit at the Port of Aqaba to ensure the continuity of energy supplies, emphasizing that the energy sector has viable alternatives in place to guarantee the uninterrupted provision of energy across the Kingdom.
